First seen in the 1970s, the Nike Blazer has now been reworked for a September 2017 release by the hands of Virgil Abloh and his contemporary Off-White street brand. The Off-White Blazer Mid OG is one of 5 classic Nike silhouettes which have been remoulded and modernised as part of Abloh’s ‘The Ten’ collection, and I am confident you have never seen the Nike Blazer like this before. This shoe contains all the hallmarks of the Off-White movement, balancing wonderfully subtle and understated features which stay true to the source material coupled with the type of bold detailing which has become synonymous with the collection a whole. A robust midsole is crafted from rubber and features in a tonal shade of cream, a black Swoosh extends across the sidewall onto the midsole, and whether it’s the oversized “SHOELACES” insignia, vibrant splashes of orange colouring or chunky padded tongue, you can be assured of that distinctive street-inspired look.
